Finding our way back to love.

Another morning with Kay, a new perspective of a deeper understanding of love, beauty, and freedom. 

Attempting to find words to share the experiences that happen as a matter of course in our life is quite the learning experience in itself.

Just this morning, I was sharing how, at times, my heart aches so much from watching the ways people are and treat each other.

And Kay said, “I see what’s behind all that. I see their Song’s inherent, unimaginable beauty, the truth of who they are, and I connect with that and hold that is our reality.”

Those are the kind of mic-drops I get to experience more times than I sometimes feel I deserve. Ok, fine, I need to work on that blind belief. 

When we can learn to see the unfathomable amount and feeling of love and beauty and exchange with all that is which is found just below the thin layer of the asleep ways that we have been lured to live our lives, we begin to experience what it means to be human, what it means to be alive as a human.

When we begin to see the beauty and wonder in wait just below the surface of the violent ways we have learned to regard ourselves and each other, we know true healing.

When we are on a path on which we reach for the beauty of our humanity, the wonders of our hearts that lie just beyond our grasp, we have a chance to unmask the illusions and lies and see the beauty that is just below the surface waiting for us to discover. 

When you look at the bigger picture, not unlike the perspective of an eagle flying high up in the sky, you realize that what happened to us during the past three years, the violations of our freedoms, our sovereignty, our sacredness, our humanity, all under pretenses, are things, ways of manipulation and oppression that have been done to humanity for eons, there was nothing new.

Throughout human history that we are aware of, well, much of human history, there have almost always been oppressors who worked very hard to squelch our spirit, to cripple the beauty of our soul.

Only now, there are so many of us who are beginning to see the truth of it all and the truth of who we are, so that the powers that be need to turn up the volume of their fear-mongering because more and more of us are finding our way back to love. 

And our love has those powers running scared because when we know true love, we know that there is nothing to be afraid of. And people without fear are infinitely more challenging to manipulate and control. 

Because they see through and ignore the ongoing barrage of dangers, of things to be afraid of, that is being thrown at them to keep them asleep, so that they continue living in ignorance and in the violent ways that we have been programmed to live our lives without regard for our beauty and our humanity or the beauty and humanity of our fellow humans. 

Because when we know real love, we understand real power. 

Then we can shatter the glass house of mirrors of shadows, illusions, and lies that we are lured into accepting and living as the truth of who we are and what life is. 

Then we are free to be the truth of our hearts.

And we are free to create a new world. 

We know our heart is free and must only muster the courage to follow her.
