Wanowa Ka Ta See
We are working together to bring the world back into balance.
Wanowa Ka Ta See is an expression in the language of our Peruvian teachers, which translated means “we are working together to bring the world back into balance.”
And, it was also Kay’s wish for the title of The Reluctant Shaman https://amzn.to/3SA5i58. Harper said foreign language titles don’t sell.
All our work is to help people move back into balance. In so doing, we are all working together to bring the world back into balance.
Lora had the idea to talk about balance in our next Healing Talk, about what being in balance means and why it is so central in these teachings to our health and sanity, and to restoring health and sanity in our world.
I even started to write an intro for the talk.
The heart of the truth of everything is balance.
At the heart of our being is balance.
At the center of a muggle bubble, life is anything but.
Domano, Kay’s adopted Peruvian grandfather and teacher said that "Ka Ta See is balance. The balance of being perfectly whole. It is from the spirit. Here." he said as he tapped his heart. "It begins in the spirit...."
- The Reluctant Shaman, by Kay Cordell Whitaker
Chea, Domanos companion, and Kay’s adopted Peruvian grandmother and teacher, said,
”Balance is a state due to equilibriums. Equity and harmony with the self and all forms. The world looks very different when we learn how to shift and redirect our attention.
“The unfathomable beauty, the joy, the extraordinary amount and feeling of exchange with other forms. It is a human heritage."

While I would love another time with our friends Lora and Laura to chat with Kay about balance, given all the things in our lives that we are all attending to, I thought it would be just as powerful to share a talk by Kay with you that is all about balance. How to become balance how to live balance how to be balance.
It’s called “How To Move Through These Crazy Times Like A Shaman.” And in my observations, Kay is the authority to talk about this because she exemplifies how to stay balanced in a world gone mad.
Here’s the link to the talk:
Don’t miss it; it’ll feed your spirit! And a spirit well fed is half the journey.
If you want help moving yourself and your life back into balance, check out two of our course offerings that focus heavily on helping you do just that. In truth, all that we offer through these teachings focuses heavily on balance, but these two are where it all starts.
