Walking The Spiral Path To Live!
I recently heard, again, the story of a guy who climbed one of the tallest peaks in the world without support. No basecamp, no oxygen tanks, none of that. Only the bare essentials and climbing.
He made it.
And back down, when a reporter asked him why he went up there to die, he answered, “I didn’t go up there to die; I went up there to live.”
This time hearing the story struck a much deeper cord in me; I felt like I understood, I mean really understood.
And I realized that the burning desire in my heart to live, to be alive, to not just go through the motions of my life but to know aliveness and live fully is why I was drawn to and continue to study and learn from these ancient teachings.
While mostly not nearly as dangerous as climbing peaks like Everest without support, in the end, the pursuit of truth through the studies of the ancient teachings offers the same results, to learn what it means to be alive amidst the unfathomable, intensely pulsating awe-striking love and beauty of the aliveness of life.
To be at peace while standing in your center, being your truth, in the intensity of this aliveness, and know your connectedness with all in that unimaginably profound feeling reality.
That is the awakening journey of the Spiral Path. That is part of the gifts of climbing the Tree Of Life at the center of the Spiral Path.
The Spiral path is the awakening journey of the ancient teachings of Ka Ta See. You walk into and around the spiral until you arrive at the center of knowledge at the foot of the three of life, and once there, you start climbing up the tree. Domano, our Peruvian Elder and Teacher said that that’s where the real fun begins.
We know this path is not for everyone. But it is for people whose hearts long to live in the aliveness of life, being alive, and removing the illusion of isolation most modern humans live within. It is for those who long for understanding, I mean genuinely knowing their place amongst the peoples of the stars.
Be great to meet you one day on that Spiral Path.
In Love and Song,
Helmut
