Searching For The Truth Of Things
And gaining a new perspective based on the all-pervading love and beauty at the heart of life.
I got an email today from a supplement company about Alzheimer’s Disease. After reading the email, I thought of The Last Jedi, specifically Luke’s line, “Amazing. Every word of what you just said was wrong.” This got me thinking about just how astoundingly absurd of a time we live in.
Ka Ta See is about many things. One of those things that stands tall among its core tenets is to learn to always search for the truth of things. Always endeavor to clearly see and understand yourself for who and what you are, who and what other people are, and equally to clearly understand what everything else truly is.
The more I can observe and experience our modern world through the eyes of these ancient teachings, the more I feel like I have moved in and am living in a tragic stand-up comedy. Our current understanding of Alzheimer’s is but a minuscule example of that reality.
Fortunately, to live by these teachings, your desire to find the truth of things never rests, and that means you cannot help to move past all the surface-level mirages of shadows, lies, and illusions and gain a deeper and deeper understanding of the things that are the foundations of life. You learn to understand the energies at the center of life throughout this planet and the universe. You inevitably come to experience, understand, and know the breathtaking unfathomable, all-pervading love and beauty at the heart of life, of being alive, just waiting to be discovered and live.
I realize that is a stark contrast to the matrix life, the muggle bubble reality we see playing out around us in our world today. And yet, that is the opportunity of millenniums that stands before us, before humanity, waiting for us to step into and make it a reality in our lives and the world.
You’re here. You’re alive. Your heart longing to live. Longing for experience. Longing for meaning. What else are you gonna do? Watch golf on television?
See, that’s where my mind and heart go when information from the upside-down backward reality comes at me. I am constantly reminded of the illusions of the muggle bubble thought forms and, with it, of what’s real, of the love and beauty and healing that’s underneath of it all.
There were times when I couldn’t shift and redirect my attention away from the pain the muggle bubble held me captive in.
I hold infinite love and gratitude for learning to take my power back by learning to control my attention so that I don’t have to live in the pain of that isolation anymore. And I hold infinite love and gratitude for all the people and beings, and experiences that helped me to learn about love and beauty and the power of controlling my attention so that I don’t have to live there anymore. My wife being the most important to me among all the remarkable humans I have the privilege to call friends!
In Love and Song,
Helmut
